Knowing

There was a student called Lucinda Embry at William Dawes Elementary School. The school would celebrate Tokyo grand opening. Mrs. Taylor as a teacher announce that Lucinda’s idea was choosed for celebrate that special ceremony. The idea was a time capsule burial. Time Capsule is a tube that will be occupied with the students’s paper. The papaer occupied the student’s purpose about the future. The time capsule would bury into the land and would be opened by William Dawes Elementary School’s studentS 50 years later.

The students started to draw about their immagination like a space plane. But Lucinda wrote many numbers on her paper. The time finished and Lucinda had not finished her writing. Mrs. Taylor forced to take the Lucida’s paper. The paper put into envelopes and given their name.

Arrive next day, the ceremony was held  by grave the time capsule. When the ceremony went on, Lucinda dissapeared. Until the night, the officers and the teachers looked for all the school’s rooms. Mrs. Taylor found Lucinda in the gymnasium room. Her hand was hurt because she used the fingers to scracth the door to finish her writing. Lucinda told that she always hear a whisper. She was very afraid but she never could tell it.

50 years later.

In a house, John Koestler lives with his son who named Caleb. His wife, Allison, had dead since someyears ago and Caleb had a trouble with his audio. John was upset because his wife’s death.

Caleb had to go to sleep that night because tomorrow was 50 years ceremony in William Dawes Elementary School where Caleb studied.

John was a lecture who teach astrophysics on Massachusetts Institute of Technology. That day, after he teached his student, he met Phil, his bestfriend. Suddently John remember that he had to go to his son’s school. He directly went to see Caleb.

The ceremony had began. Caleb was little disappointed because his father came late, but he always forgive him.

Then the time capsule was opened. Every children got an envelope. Caleb got Lucinda Embry’s envelope. He opened it and he disappointed because the content was numbers, not pictures like his friends got. Suddently he heard a whisper as Lucinda had experienced. He thought if there was a trouble with his listening equipment. He saw a mysterious man with black robe under a tree and suddently he dissapeared.

John looked the Lucinda’s paper when they were at home. He order Caleb to return it to the school but Caleb couldn’t because he was sure that it had meaning.

When John was gloomy, he accupied his glass too much. He looked for tissue and put the glass on Lucinda’s paper accidentaly. It made a circle-shaped marked on paper.

He was currious about the number 911012996 in the circle and wrote it in the whiteboard. He observed it and found that the numbers was a code. It was a date and some numbers followed. He searching datas from internet about something which happened on that day. He found if there was a big disaster on Nophember, 9th 2001 that kill 2996 victims. He began to match all numbers and data on the internet. And all proved that the numbers was the date of the event and the number of victims. But every date followed some numbers and John had not to solve it. Then John surprized because he found that next two days there would be a tragedy which killed 81 people.

John told to Phil but Phil did not believe it.

John decided to met Mrs. Taylor in her house. He asked Mrs. Taylor about Lucinda Embry. Mrs. Taylor was old so she only told that she remembered. She also told that Lucinda had dead some years ago.

When Caleb was playing football at the yard, a mysterious man came by a car. He give a little black stone for Caleb. John saw it from the home and ran to Caleb but he could not saw the man.

When John was searching about Lucinda on internet, Grace , his sister, came. She visited he and Caleb and put on a message from her father. John had a problem with his father and did not visite him for a long time. After a bit of a fight. Grace went home.

All the night, John was think about the paper and 81 victims that will killed that day. Until the afternoon he forget that he had to picked Caleb up.

He got stuck and it was rainy. Accidentally he saw on his GPS coordinates where he was. And he found that the number had not been solved was the GPS coordinates where the disaster would be happened.

He decided to out from his car and asked the officer what it was happening. Suddently, a plane landed to the street and exploded. John tried to help the victim but it was too dangerous.

John was tired when he arrived home and heard that 81 people was killed. Caleb felt unhappy because his father did not tell what was actually happening. That night Phil came and he just believed what John said.

Caleb was sleeping and heard a whisper again. The mysterious man came to his bedroom and order Caleb to look into his window. Caleb saw a big fire that burn the forest and also Caleb’s house. Caleb was so scared and he shouted loudly. John heard it and ran into Caleb’s bedroom. He also look the man from window and pursue him but he didn’t find the man.

The next day, John looked for Lucinda’s family. He found Diana and Abby. Diana was Lucinda’s daughter and Abby was Diana’s daughter. When John told the truth about his destination and he asked about her mother, Diana was angry. She thought that John would do the bad. Diana decided to go.

In the night John listened a news that therories would attack in East Coast town. John thought if the next disaster which killed 170 people would happen there. He tried to call the security by public telephone.

John left Caleb to Grace and he went to the corner of Lafayette and Worth street for pevent the disaster. John looked into the subway station. He saw a man suspected of hiding something under his jacket. John and some officers pursued him. When he would be catched, John saw a train came from opposite direction fastly. John shouted to go back. The train hit the sation and people around there. A tragedy killed many people again.

When John went home after picked Caleb up from Grace’s house, he saw Diana and Abby had been in front of his house. Finally, Diana believed John that what he said about Lucinda’s paper and disaster prediction were  correct. Diana also said that her mother predict if she would death on october, 19th. Diana loved Abby  verry much and she didn’t believe if there is anyone that could predict her death. They and Caleb and Abby  decide to go to her mother’s car house. In the way, John told about his sadness because of he  wife’s death. He thought if she got the Lucinda’s paper before Allison dead, he might be can safe her wife.

They arrived at Lucinda’ house in forest. Diana thougt that the last number on Lucinda’s paper wasn’t 33, but it was EE. And they thought that it was an innicial.

They look into Lucinda’s house. Diana told about her remember about her mother. She was 9 years old when her mother dead. Her father took her from her mother when he was child because he thougt that Lucinda was sick. And Lucinda decided to move here for ready. Diana never understood about her mother mind. They found some pictures about disaster on the wall. Diana told that her mother often saw a man and sun picture in much hours. They looked into a room where Lucinda corpse was found. John found a little black stone in the floor like Caleb got from the misterious man. He looked in the bottom of Lucinda’s bed. He found some stone and also characters. They understood that EE wasn’t an innicial, it meant everyone else. Suddently, they heard a loud clakson from his car. They ran fastly because they worried Caleb and Abby that slept there. Caleb and Abby was scared. They told that the mysterious men came to them and the misterious men said that they could follow them if they choosed.

John looked the man and ran to pursue him with his pistol. He found the man but he couldn’t catch him.

Daina and Abby spend the night at John’s house. They thougt that someone had followed them since some days. They didn’t believe that they would die tomorrow, but Lucinda’s prediction was right until now. They slept with their children tonight. They was so scared if they lost their lovely children.

In the morning, John looked Abby was colouring the Lucinda’s sun picture. John understood something and he told Diana and Abby to follow him. They went to Massachusetts Institute of Technology Haystack Observatory. He looked for datas in his computer. He found that there will be a big disaster because of solar activity and it will kill all of organism in the earth. He told Phil to go home and met his wife tonight. Diana was so sad when she heard it. She got an idea to hid in the cave to safe themself. John said it possible.

They went home and took some things to be brought to the cave like clothes and food. John saw a prize that Allison made for her before she dead. It was a necklace with a beautiful liontin that in there a photo of three of them. John also tried to call his father. He ordered him to safe herself, John’s mother and Grace in a cave. But his father didn’t believe that it would safe them from the disaster. John tried to make sure his father but it failed. His father decide to stay at home.

John look for caleb in his room. He found caleb was writing numbers like Lucinda did 50 years ago. John tried to stop it. Caleb did it because of a misterious sound. John remember that Lucinda wrote her last writing on the door of the gymnastic room. He decided to go there. He went to the William Dawes Elementary school and took the gymnastic room door to take home. He tried to find numbers on the door, but diana didn’t agree with it. She forced John to go to the cave. John refused and he would find the coordinates of where they had to go from the door.

Diana choosed to go with the children by her car. They went without John and she said that John would follow them. Finally John found the coordinates. He would tell it for Diana, but he was late. He tried to catch them.

Diana, Abby, and Caleb arrived in a gas station. Diana went into a convenience store and saw the news that there would be a major damage because of a fire sun. Meanwhile, Caleb out from the car and called his father by public thelephone. Diana took the telephone and said if they would go to the cave. John said to Diana that they had to go the safe place at Lucinda’s car home. John explained that the cave wouldn’t save them because the radiation will catch a mill into the earth, but Diana did not believe it. Suddently, she found a black stone at above the telephone box. She looked at her car and found her car had been taken away by the mysterious men with Abby and Caleb. She ran but she was late. She took another car and chased her car. Unfortunately it was too fast. She was determined to run a red light and hit by a big truck.

John arrived there and found Diana in the ambulance. Diana dead on 00.00 a.m. The Lucinda’s prediction was realized. John found the black stone on Diana’s hand. Then he went to Lucinda’s car home in the forest. He looked for Caleb. The mysterious men were there with Caleb and Abby. Caleb told that they was a kind man and they would took him into a safe place. The men wouldn’t hurt them. Abby also told that they said if her mother was safe.

Caleb told that the men came for them. John asked who they were and suddently there a big strange plane landed. I think they are aliens. The aliens asked them to go with them. When John would go with them, the alien said to Caleb that only children and they that heard the calling which could go with them.

John wished but it was impossible. He was very sad to part with Caleb. Caleb did not want to go without his father. John made sure Caleb to go and to take care Abby. John give the necklace to Caleb and said that they would together forever with his mother too. Caleb reluctantly decided to go with Abby and the aliens by the plane. John was very sad because it.

In the morning, he went to his father’s home. He saw many fires in the city and there is a fire in the sky on the way. He arrived and told Grace that Caleb was safe. John sapologized to her father. Then he hold his mother, his father, and Grace. The big fire hit them. All on the earth were dead.

Meanwhile, Caleb and Abby lived on another planet.

That’s all about Knowing. From the film we get some lessons that:

-          We must always love our familly

-          We shall not do anything carelessly

-          We may not believe with a prediction, but we must believe that the life will end
